RWBY OC: Cheshire Schrodinger

This is how I imagined I'd be like if I were part of the RWBY universe.

Name: Cheshire Leopardsy

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Height: 6'2 ft.

Species: Faunas

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Topaz

Weaponry: Conender (Heavy blunt weapon/dust cannon. Capable of magnifying aura output to generate large protective shield. Strangely shaped like a traffic cone) and Helsinger (Long range rifle with attached blades designed for counterstriking rather then frontal assault) Only uses one weapon at a time depending on situation. Neither weapon transforms or compacts into smaller sizes like most because he finds transformation only takes up time and prefers efficiency over style.

Fighting Style: Defensive offensive. Uses a passive approach and usually defends until appropriate time comes to perform a lethal counterstrike. Tries to end a fight cleanly without making a mess. Customized two weapons during combat school but only uses one at a time depending on situation. Prefers strategy over brute force.
Specialty: Counterstrikes and Predicting attacks. Uses logical thinking and analysis to read the movements and advances of opponent and quickly formulates proper plan of action to either avoid damage or perform a counterstrike. If given enough information in battle, is able to predict an enemy's attack several minutes before it is done. When this happens when an enemy attempts attack he is already in a completely different location, nearly appearing to have teleported to a different spot in a small amount of time. Confuses enemies by constantly appearing and disappearing from sight this way.

Personality: Keeps himself distant from most people. Appears a bit cold. Subtly shows a kinder side in the midst of constantly acting tough but denies strongly whenever called a tsundere.

Hobby: Drawing, Reading, Strategy games, Listening to music

Likes: Riddles and Puzzles, Saving money; Likes the challenge of understanding and solving riddles and puzzles and often pitches several of his own to others. Some people consider it annoying. He's a bit of a cheapskate and constantly either saves money or find ways to exploit money from others.

Dislikes: Loud noises and racism; Prefers peace and quiet and hates racist comments and thoughts with a vengeance. Though hates to be bothered, when he sights a fellow faunas being picked on, he would go out of his way to bash someone with the but of his rifle. Keep note that the but of his rifle has a knife attached to it.

Secretly likes: Cute things; Though tries hard not to show it, he has a terrible weakness to the sight of cute things. Has shown signs of a lolita complex but denies it twice as strongly as he denies being tsundere.

Secretly dislikes: Bugs. Finding it embarrassing to admit, he tries not to show his dislike of vermin and insects but upon sighting something as minor as a fly, he'd go as far as to tear apart half a building to smash it.
Favorite Retort: "Big talk coming from a shaved ape" ; When dealing with an anti-faunas insult, he often retorts to this phrase.

Backstory: The grandson of a famous Faunas tactician and general during the great war who was killed by an anti-Faunas group several years after the war's end, Cheshire has more then a mere distrust when it comes to anything that isn't a fellow faunas. Being burdened by years of bullying and discrimination due to his heritage, Cheshire has trouble being opening up to others and has few to no friends. Diving himself into his studies, he distances himself from others. His high marks got him into Beacon but the person he met first in the forest refused to look him in the eye and refused eye contact until he met up with another human instead. In the end he was left without a partner and has no team. Though he he has a cold outlook on humanity, there is one human he secretly admires. He is secretly a huge fan of the famous singer Weiss Schnee and goes to every concert no matter the cost. When her first album came out he bought three of each; one to store, one to keep, and one to display.
